Anne Elisabeth Moutet on the “Royal Exit” of the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry
Ms. Moutet has been writing and broadcasting on Macron, the labor strikes in France, Boris Johnson’s surprise victory and other weighty subjects of the day.
What, pray tell,  is this reader of Macaulay - who rushed to Kindle to get the “Delphi Complete Macaulay” edition - doing with her ‘Page Six’ foray into Daily Mail or Best territory? Why is she suddenly pontificating on “Megxit!”, which, according to Ms. Moutet “… has interesting political aspects in addition to the royal entertainment …the fault line between pro-‘Firm’ and pro-Meghan lies pretty much where the ‘Leavers’ and ‘Remainers’ watershed was”.
Come find out at the Danube Institute January Lecture to be held at the Hotel Andrassy conference room.
Anne-Elisabeth Moutet is a columnist with the London Daily Telegraph.  She is a regular contributor to the BBC, CapX, the New York Post and Deutsche Welle. She comments on the week’s news on ARTE television’s 28 Minutes talk show in Paris, and is also a frequent guest on C dans l’Air France Television talk show.  Anne-Elisabeth is a member of the Club of Three Steering Group (London). She is a co-founder and vice-president of the Institut Jean-Jacques Rousseau in Paris and a distinguished senior fellow of the Gatestone Institute. In the past, she was a foreign correspondent for the Sunday Times (London), Paris bureau chief for The European, France editor for Newsweek Europe, and a regular contributor to the Weekly Standard.
